Oman Air grows network

Oman Air is adding five destinations to its network in May.

The first is Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur which will be inaugurated on the May 1 with four flights a week from Muscat.

This will be the airline’s 33rd destination and its second in the Far East.

The other four destinations, which will also begin running in May are Ras al-Khaimah, Al Ain, Islamabad and Lahore.

Chief executive Peter Hill said: “These new destinations will be a welcome addition to the ever-expanding Oman Air network.

“Kuala Lumpur has been a much-anticipated destination and I’m positive it will be a real winner with our customers, especially those from the Gulf Region and the subcontinent."

The new route will be operated on Oman Air’s recently introduced Airbus A330 aircraft, featuring first, business and economy class seating.
