Haryana Tourism set to hold annual Mango Mela from July 2 to 3

Haryana Tourism is all set to hold the 20th edition of its annual Mango Mela at Yadvindra Gardens , Pinjore from July 2 to 3, 2011 where farmers will be encouraged to adopt latest technologies to increase productivity and quality of the mangoes and their product. Thus enabling the farmers to get better returns for their produce and products of mangoes.

This was stated by Haryana Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Tourism, Ram Kishan Fouji while addressing the media persons on Thursday. The two-day festival would be jointly organized by Haryana Tourism and Department of Horticulture. The mela would be inaugurated on July 2 with Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia as the chief guest at the prize distribution-cum-closing ceremony on July 3, 2011.
