Delhi Airport’s 'swing area' to serve both domestic, international travellers

For the first time in Delhi, domestic air travellers from Terminal 1D of IGI Airport will be able to get their security check done at the international counters. As per the plan, the international security and immigration check-in area can also be used for domestic travellers in lean hours when the number of international flights is low, according to a report by Rakesh Ranjan in The Pioneer. This facility is not available at Terminal 3. International services from Terminal 1D are set to start in September.
